In this Role, You will:
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, and C-corporations.
- Conduct tax research and provide clients with tax planning and consulting services.
- Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff.
- Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Maintain and grow strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks and assist in resolving complex tax issues.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and accounting regulations.
Tax Manager Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation is a plus
- CPA License (Required)
- 3-7+ Years of recent public accounting experience (level dependent).
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax code, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with tax software Lacerte
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Salary Range: $105,000-$125,000
